Julia Salmon, Capability Fish Ltd
Freelance Learning Designer
Julia Salmon founded Capability Fish, bringing over twenty years of experience, working within a wide variety of corporate and educational environments: as an ICT Trainer, courseware designer and technical author; including development of material for in-house business critical systems. She is a member of the Learning and Performance Institute and eLearning Guild.
She has worked in a L&D capacity across the UK and have also been team member within Training teams involved in global implementations of software rollouts.
Knowledgeable in a wide variety of industry standard IT software, as well as working on bespoke systems development, as a BA, running TNAs and delivering and supporting training online, desk-side support, online and via eLearning.
Over the course of many years of software training experience, it has often proved the case that standard courses designed to demonstrate the functions of a software tool frequently overlook the business process for which such tools are intended. Indeed, if a software tool is misused, this can undermine the successful outcome of the business end-goal.
Capabiity Fish designs and delivers training products which support specific business functions (e.g. sales, manufacturing, customer services) and are collaborative with any related change management requirements.
